Which blades would you recpommend for a 90 v dc variable mill? Wind speeds mostly under 11 mph.

I need more information to recommend blades. What is the rpm rating of the motor? Do you happen to know the amp rating of the motor or the weight of the motor?

Also, this article should help you verify if your motor will work well in a wind turbine application:

Are 35 inch WindGrabber Aluminum blades recommended for a Dumore Corp. 0324 PM motor full no load RPM 780/950, 115 volt, 70 amp, 3/4 hp?

I am assuming that it is 7 amps and NOT 70 amps like you typed? I would recommend three of five turbotorque blades for this motor assuming that it is 7 amps. If it were 70 amps, the motor would weigh well over 100 pounds.

I have a 1995 whisper 1000HV and in need of a new set of blades.
    Motor is 850rpm 1000w @ 11m/s wind
    I am set up on 24v so rated @ 30v / 32amps
Wind is changeable, but mostly light to moderate
    What blades do you recommend?

I would recommend three or five WindGrabber blades. I know of two customers who gave me feedback that have replaced their whisper blades with the WindGrabber blades. One customer went with the three blade WindGrabbers and the other chose the five blade WindGrabbers. Both were happy with the performance but I cannot say which set (3 or 5) performs better. My guess would be the five blade set because the original Whisper blades are longer than the WindGrabber blades. Thus, to compensate for the shorter length you can go with five blades which will give you more torque.
