I just received my kit. Reading the instructions regarding the mounting of the charge controller. Do not mount on anything flammable like wood. I was not aware of this and it has thrown a wrench into this setup. I was a going to mount this on the side of a cabinet inside the RV. How hot does this controller get? If I put a piece of metal a in between the controller and wood will it be enough to prevent a fire.
