This is a thrust bearing mount I built for my Windynation PMA/generator. The sequence of photos shows how it is assembled.
The larger piece of pipe represents the 2.5" sd 40 that the generator is mounted to. The smaller piece of pipe is the same size as the top of the tower (2" sd 40). The slip ring/bearing mount assy is welded together and welded to the top of the tower. The washer on top of the gen assy is welded to the top of the pipe and slips down over the slip ring assy and the tower top. I added a bronze thrust bushing on top of the bearing in case the bearing tries to bind.

Sequence starts at the bottom and goes up(dono why??)

Wont let me download more pics so will open another subject.
