    YO all,
want to use PMAs but most here terminate in DC (NOT GOOD FOR DISTANCE TRANSMISSION), can we get PMAs wtih the three phase output, so rectification can be done at battery bunker?

The windy nation 500 Watt PMA produces 3-phase AC, which can be rectified at the battery to DC.

Many thanks, will I also need heavy duty three phase brush set for wiring, ta Graham?

I am not sure what you mean by "brush set". The 500 Watt PMA is brushless. There are no brushes. The stator (copper winding) is located on the outside of the PMA. The rotor, which is loaded with magnets, is located in the center of the PMA. The rotor is what is attached to the shaft of the PMA. Therefore, when the blades spin, the rotor spins. The stator does not spin. The output wires of the PMA are attached to the stator and since the stator does not move, no brushes are required.

This is exactly how a brushless generator works.

The 500 Watt Windy Nation PMA includes a 50 amp 3-phase bridge rectifier which allows you to rectify the 3-phase AC to DC at the battery bank.

Might be referring to a 3 phase slip ring to keep the wire from twisting up in the tower. A nice one of these is avail at Windy Nation.
