    Hi All,

First post here, just wanted to compliment WindyNation and the members who post here for providing a great service to the new user!

I've been learning about and building alternative energy projects over the last 7-8 years and enjoyed every moment of it.
My system is a humble one, more of a UPS than a usable power source but I add to it as I can afford to do so.
I used to post over at Otherpower.com, where I learned most of what I know about AE systems.
I built a 2 phase conversion radial flux alternator from an AC motor with starter windings. It only put out around 6W peak but it was fun to learn and build.

I'm upgrading my system with a Windtura 500 Low-Wind PMA Starter Kit.
It will be a welcome upgrade, I have no doubt that it will be a tremendous improvement.
I look forward to learning and posting my progress here.
Again, thanks for sharing your experiences with AE here!

That should have read 60W output ... not 6W (It was poor, but not THAT poor)
