some kind of DC motor?

    I found this DC motor but ?
    Its a 1 1/2 hp 2500RPM V.ARM. 90 A.ARM.15.0 model4665D-23
    S/N1333 FF.1.3 NPL-884-552 STAR-TRAC
    Variable speed motor 1168 barranca dr EL PASO TX.79935
    I cant find the amps on it, nor the volts but it weighs out around 37 LBS will this work as
    generator and what size blades will I need? thanks.

    Sounds like a treadmill motor. Where did you get it? If it's a variable speed motor wouldn't amps also vary with the speed of the motor? There is a treadmill company called "Star-trak". Hope this helps. Send pictures.

    From the info it is a 90 volt 2500 rpm motor.
    By the calculator it has a volt to rpm ratio of .036 which just comes in as a good motor for windpower.

    Tom,
    Do you think the 24" TurboTorque blades would work to get the RPM's Konnon needs?
