We get very high winds during our monsoon season. My question, how much testing have you done on the solar tracker in winds up to 100 mph? Could this unit be mounted to a roof top?

The solar tracker is designed and warrantied to handle 65 mph wind. In the case where you know a monsoon is coming that will generate 100 mph wind, you can use the manual switches to put the tracker parallel to the ground which will dramatically reduce the wind loading.

The tracker needs to be mounted on at least a 4 foot pole to fully track so this may not be practical or allowed (depending on local jurisdiction) for mounting on a roof.
