Dropped two plates into a gallon(tsp.of lye for electrolyte) of water that were attached to alligator clips. thinking it would be close to a short and should of slowed the turbines output it didnt steal but about 50 watts of juice(was making 250-350w today in fairly strong wind)..

The vast amount of bubbles coming off the negative side(oxy is produced at the positve side) really gets all sort of possibilities running in my mind.

Dry cells heat up fast and need to have the volts kept at 2 volts per plate to not have heat issue under a car hood but a large wet cell with gallons of water would have little issues with 12-24 volts it looks like

I know once you get all the plates in so there is greater surface area, the more amps it will draw...

I am thinking of a pvc style wet gen that could build up 50-100 psi (in a outside tank)to regulate it at the 5psi(watched this run a 5hp briggs) to run a retarded timed motor...Plan on more SAFE playing in the future..hydrogen packs one hell of a punch.

What did you use for plates?

I dont want to try and build one now that I have the plates and got a premade unit that looked professional and cheap .http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HYDR...ptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

I broke down and bought a kit today to install on my camaro /350..I can retard the timing fairly easy and am thinking 2-3 gens that are each on a 20 amp relay switched in the car... Fiber styled flip covered jet fighter look

Let us know how it works out.
I gave up after I tested an all stainless steel one and could not light the gas.
Maybe it was something I did wrong.
