Remote monitoring my off the grid system

  1. Hello

I have a windynation 400W 4 panels with a P30L controller and Verta Max 3000/6000 inverter. The system today is powering 2 deep marine 12V cycle batteries.

The system is very new and I have been testing using the system, but looking for a way I can monitor the system remotely through Wifi, any recommendation from anyone on things they have done or devices they used?

thanks in advance for any help

This one thing that I always wanted to have incorporated into my system.
Many of the more expensive manufactures of inverters have some type of remote monitoring. I now run a Magnum Energy inverter with the added web kit.
I use to use a morning star c60 charge controler however it required a pc to monitor using their free software.
Depending on exactly what info you wish to know it may be possible with a raspberry pi or a sonoff module. I use a sonoff low voltage module to lock my solar tracker. If I can't connect I know either the internet is down or the system isn't producing.
I have always used cameras to monitor my place and had thought of setting one up to just monitor the readout of the inverter however user input was tequired to change the display read out to see everything I wished.

Since I do run a $5 Raspberry pi Zerro W at my off grid place I dug into utilizing one this morning and did notice there is an addon board for dc monitoring and it suggests a possible use as monitoring stats for a solar system. However since I already have the Magnum web kit I doubt I'll play with it.
