The panel (100w) tests fine and I have about 19 volts tested at the charge controller input terminals with a multi-meter but the charger does not see it or utilize it to charge. The controller has never been exposed to extreme weather and upon taking the back off there are no obvious signs of destruction like a component let the smoke out. Any thoughts or ideas of where to start trouble shooting?
What voltage does the battery display with your multi meter at the charge controler? Is this a new install? Have you followed the installation and trouble shooting steps in the manual?
It is not a new install. I use the solar to charge the battery that runs a bubbler to keep fishing bait alive. Over night sometime is when it quit charging and the battery voltage was at 12.4v. I will need to find a manual for it to follow the trouble shooting steps, so no I haven't gone there yet. Thanks for your response. I see your quite helpful on this site.
