Need help with an inverter

Discussion in 'What Products are for Me?' started by Gail Nowels, May 10, 2012.

  1. I recently installed a wind turbine using the Rover 300 W generator and a 300 W invertor to tie the windturbine to the grid. The invertor needs a 450W 3 ohm dump load resistor and I do not know where to purchase one. Can anyone help me?

Also since this is not tied to batteries do I need to have a charge controller?

You do not need a charge controller.

We do sell 2.9 ohm resistors:

and one of the above dump loads should be be fine for your particular application.

Here is a link to the technical specification of our 2.9 Ohm resistor
