  1. I'M SUBMITTING MY DESIGN WINDTURBINE, STILL IN THE FEILD TESTING PART. ONE MONTH OF FEILD TRIALS BEFORE IT GOES UP. HERE IT IS SEVEN FEET OFF THE GROUND WHERE WINDS ARE VERY TURBULATE, BUT YET IT STILL IS WORKING WELL. HERE ARE A FEW PICTURES OF MY WINDTURBINE. IT HAS A 8'-4" DIAMETER ROTATION A 20"FRONT RIM OF A HARLEY-DAVIDSON MOTOR CYCLE.

Always nice to see people thinking "out of the box". Keep us posted.

  3. Today was a great day for field trials, we had 17 mile an hour winds and my blades did what they should held up. I was only wishing it was up. I'll keep you updated as I go , thanks

Gotta love the Harley Wheel ...
... I'd suggest that if/ wherever you use a belt that you make it a synchronous type belt and synchronous pulleys.
They're a bit more expensive for the pulleys but well worth it when transferring energy.
I learned this from building an electric bike, tried gears, chains, V-belts etc. but what worked the very best with the least amount of friction (more energy from source to output) was a synchronous belt and pulleys. I guess there's a reason they now use them for automotive timing belts and Harley drive belts.
    (Just a thought Jeffery)
