Keeping turbine into the wind

    If you want your wind turbine to be less responsive to the wind, add weight to it. Just slap a 5 or 10 pound weight right above where the yaw bushing would be (This is where the center of mass of your wind turbine should be located.).

    @ windy--- By adding weight it just makes it more smoother in its tracking assuming you added more tail size to grab more wind to turn that extra weight...they stay in the gusts more true which makes them squeeze more watts out over time and are more efficient. :mrgreen: :ugeek:

    Thanks for the help I will add a piece to the tail see what happens.
