I just asked a question to them about the bolt circle and the weight of the unit.
Will post as soon as I get an answer.

Tom, I talked to them, it Is an Effsun turbine, same manufacturer as Windy's. !

Well I have not got a response yet.
I think it is only a 750w claiming it is a 1000w. By the output per MPH.
Just trying to get more money out of it.

I can tell you by experience the Windy 750 is capable of cranking out WELL OVER 1000 watts in good winds !
Just too bad we do not have enough of those winds .

Ok here is where things get weird guy's
From what I heard, and this is only speculation from a second resource who I know in the wind business.
    Fact or Fiction
The Mandaly wind turbine that just came out is by MWS (Jeff Harmon's son).
Look at the Mandaly turbine it looks just like a MWS turbine painted differnetly.
Now look at the post with the e-bay listing for this new supposably PMA. Look at who is selling it.HMMM
These guy's that are selling turbines and not all of them but most are getting more corrupt by the minute. That is a fact.

I hear you Leamy but it is a Good area of technology and something will always make sure there is good sources too as the others fall to the wayside.Thats my own personal belief...Making a quick buck always backfires and dries the money flow up...:D

I did and ask them if it was an Effsun and they said YES .
I could not find the model # under any of Effsun turbines ( this does not mean they don't have it )
Not much of a description for the EBay listing. It just kills me when I read what the turbines can produce in 35 mph winds.
Oh yah, like it blows 35mph every 2nd day for us.
No description on the weight of the turbine either.
So, who's going to write them and ask the weight and the shaft thread size ? lol

Well I wrote to them about bolt diameter and weight. And I have not got an answer.

It is a Windtura 500. The seller is simply drastically over stating its power output.

They (Mandalay Wind and Missouri Wind and Solar) purchased this PMA to make a slanderous, deceptive and misleading youtube video about our PMA. And now they are reselling it as a 1000 Watt unit.

    click on the ebay link:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/1000-WIND-GENERATOR ... 1c18fbe362

Now scroll down and read the "Model Type". It reads: MW1000-WN-FU

I think most of you can figure out what WN-FU stands for :D .

If this is the case it brings into question something everyone of us should be concerned about and that is the accuracy / honesty of a product being to which it is advertised on EBay !
If this add is inaccurate and indeed is a Windy 500 I am so pissed off that so many of those persons bidding are possibly being mislead and unfortunately the poor winner will have to suffer through building their turbine only never to reach that potential as a1000 watt turbine !
I can't even print the words I would like to use

Well as usual I waited my usual 5 sec before taking any action
In light of the fact that many are not receiving responses to questions sent to this seller or in my case it was just a one word answer, I sent the following note to this seller / Mandalay Wind.
    Please read below.

Thank you on confirming that your turbine is an Effsun product.
However on the model # you have provided Effsun has no record of this turbine. On more careful inspection and comparing size to your rectifier it would seem you may be selling a 500 watt turbine under pretense of a 1000.  I truly hope this is not the case as there are now a very large number of micro builders who network and are paying close attention to this sale and your other products !
