I'm still looking for a more specific answer to my question regarding grid tie inverters I need to know witch inverter I need to purchase for use with your 500w wind generator, without the use of a battery bank. :?
I have the same question Lee. I want to use a wind turbine to supplement my electricity...not to charge a battery bank. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I would take a look at the Out Back grid tie units: http://www.outbackpower.com/products/si ... /grid_tie/ They are a nice high quality unit. SWEA also makes much cheaper (compared to Out Back) 250, 500 and 1000 Watt grid tie units. But I know nothing about their quality or track record.
Has anyone had any good luck with a grid tie inverter that works well with the WindyNation PMA? I was hoping to find something scaleable that would allow me to add solar or other systems later. Thanks
Try the Sun G grid tie inverter. Has a dump load built in and disconnects at a higher volatge. Se my other post's for infoamtion. hope I can help.

You've provided some great info, and I'm glad to see that you've joined our blog. WELCOME I currently own a SWEA 1KW inverter box and a SUNG-500w inverter. I've been battling with my frame when I have time to work on this project, and am waiting on a 750 from Josh. I hope to have many more conversation with you regarding setting up a 500 and a 750 using the same components you are using.
