Got my Windy Nation PMA to work

I just bought the new PMA and a set of blades as well as their charge controller and after one email for support I managed to get it all working, so now I have power in my detached workshop (100' from my house). :D

Right now the rotors are cranking and my 12v deep cycle battery kicked over to the dump load faster than I thought - it's great when things work. I think I'm going to add another turbine and a solar panel since the charge controller can handle it. I do wish they would add a frame mount for the PMA that fit's a standard pipe size.

Glad to hear it is working now!

We are diligently working on a frame mount. It is our #1 objective and we will have a mount commercially available ASAP. We have to thoroughly prototype and test all our products before we make them available for sale.

    Thanks for your feed back.

Hi, i am interested to buy your 500 PMA but have some questions. I have 10 amp 12/24 V controller,-will it handle this generator?, and will hyper spin blades fit the steel hub ? where do i get mount bracket ? will double-alluminum tail work for this PMA ? what is the shipping cost to 13340, thanks,- Greg.

-- Your controller will not work. It does not have a high enough amperage rating. Also, the controller must have dump load capabilities so that your generator is under load at all times.

-- The best blades to use are the 30 inch or 35 inch (WindGrabber blades). The 500 Watt PMA with the blades included will be available on the website in about 2 weeks. It is probably better to wait as this will be a package deal at a reduced cost.

-- You can use the double tail for the 500 Watt PMA.

-- Shipping cost depends on the final weight of what you order.
