Genny is Toast!

    Well my Genny ran for almost a year. I used a PMDC Motor and it looks as though the weld that holds the mounting bracket to the motor broke... Don't have any extra cash so I hope the motor is salvageable but it looks like one possibly 2 Blades are toast too..

    Ah the fun of learning your systems weaknesses..I am the king of this type of learning:D BUT will have the best system HIGH OUTPUT systems around..Already have had 60+mph winds with smooooth sailings..

    Mine was great in 60 MPH Winds... I guess the Factory Weld on a PMDC Motor just isn't built for a Wind Genny!

    Might just save my cash and get a Wind Tura 750...

    Can that bent Blade be fixed???

    I would say nope never,,it would never fly balanced and smooth

    Don, just seen your photo, send me your mailing address again, will send a replacement blade. No cost , your PMDC is probably ok, just weld yourself up a good mount . If it was meeting your needs before and working, save your $$$ and stick to it.
