I have a new setup of 2x100 watt windynation panels in parallel with a P30L controller connected to 2x 12v deep cycle batteries also in parallel. I have set the OVD on the controller to the recommended 13.8v. However, my float voltage is constantly reading in the LCD up to 16v. I am worried that I am cooking my batteries... Am I doing something wrong? Is my controller malfunctioning? Thanks for the help!
Windynation support diagnosed the issue as a bad controller. They are shipping me a new one. Glad I wasnt going crazy
Glad to heard your getting a new controller from Windy nation. Your don't hear of many defective controllers unless the setup was hit or near hit by lightening. Windy Nation (currently) doesn't carry lightening arrestors but every one should consider adding these to their setup.
