Yes I had one and sold it because of all the turbulence at my house it would not get up over 300 watts. You will have to have real clean wind to get any more out of it. I see allstar is selling them on ebay for $319 and free shipping. Just put in effsun and it will come up.
Ok thanks i see it, your setup i see your using the 300 watt model what the result like, am using a missouri 800 watt rebel right now, it produce in high wind i want to replace that pma from missouri so i was looking at the EFFSUN 600W
I am running the 5 blade for low wind and it helps to stall the blades out at high rpm over 30 mph. Depending on how much sustained winds you get you might have to have a furling tail to keep it from burning up. I do not have sustained winds here above 15 mph for more than 10-15 secs at a time with 30-45 secs break in between. So wind here is like a roller coaster effect.
I have a 5 blade raptor gen 4 and a falcon mach3 blade set i don't have a furling tail it just the standard missouri setup i want to modified that it to add the allstar pma. what the highest amp you get from your 300 effsun.
at 30+ wind I have seen 500 watts at 28 volts which would be 17.85 amps. I found with turbulence the wind grabbers with a smaller pma works better. You get better rpms out of it that way.
Look at the falcon mach3 blades on ebay and tell me what do you think about them that's the blade i have will those work on the EFFSUN 600W well tell me what you think.
Do not know why they would not work. It is 80 inch diameter. Just need real clean wind to get full power out of it.
Hi notice you also have a WN 500 Watt PMA - WN 5 Blade how well it perform does your Effsun 300 Watt PMA -WN 5 Blade perform better than it. As i said am saying am looking for a good wind PMA Effsun 600 Watt PMA or WN 500 Watt PMA , which is better.
I notice the windtura 750 super amp have good charging for 12v system is the Effsun 600 Watt PMA is capable to perform like it.
So the Effsun 600 Watt PMA is good for wind , Am going to buy one soon. I think i will get a better amp with it than my missouri rebel, some way some how i got to get that pma on my missouri frame maybe a little welding have to be done if that it takes.
You can use a MWS hub to attach the PMA to the MWS bracket. I did it with a WN 750 PMA and a wind blue bracket. Works great
Yes, i do not see why not. The mounting for the PMA on a MWS frame is the same as a wind blue. Both made for delo PMA's. Somewhere on this forum i have a picture of what i did.
Took awhile but found it. http://www.windynation.com/community/threads/my-home-wind-system.341/#post-3417
