I purchased one of your dump load. Is there a positive and negative hook up? If so it is not labled. Not sure how to hook it up.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
There is no polarity to the dump load which means there is no positive or negative end. You can connect your positive wire to either end of the dump load. Then simply connect the unused terminal on the dump load to the negative wire.

What happens if I used a dump load 12 volt and my generator operates at voltage below 12 volt? Does the dump load still extract power from generator?

Yes, it does. As the voltage drops, the dump load will extract less and less power from the wind turbine or the battery bank.

Power = (volts^2)/(resistance) where volts is the volts and resistance is the resistance of the dump load.
