    Hi,
We do not sell VAWT blade sets. I believe there are plans available online for building VAWT blades but I do not know of any company that sells VAWT blades. Maybe some other forum member knows of a site that sells them?

The most I have seen different between HAWT and VAWT is the way they mount. Both use ball bearings. The VAWTs I have seen have a mounting plate on the end. But the way the windtura is made just add some washers to the end and bolt it to a plate and you will be all set. :D

I have seen the video. It is for a 400w axial flux generator.
If you were to build it with a 750w there would have to be changes to the center shaft size and the size of the wings. Do not know how it would be with a 500w generator. Reduced output for sure.

Speaking of AirX 3 blade turbines. I see them on the side of the road when I ride my motorcycle around. I have seen at least 10 different installations. They are never going unless there is alot of wind.
My neighbor has a small motor now with a set of 3 AirX blades on it . The day I saw it just barely moving mine was spinning like crazy. I can see mine from his house. Less than 2 blocks away.
    (UPDATE)
My neighbor took his DIY turbines down when new garage was built.
In defense of Airx turbines on the side of the roads. They also have solar and maybe be charged to the point of shutting off the turbines.
