I can see I already dont like these blades. The base is half as wide as the 10.6's I used on the geared version and these start to turn in over 10 mph winds.The 10.6's will start in 6-7 mph.. Oh well they are there to stay as the hub and shaft are married for life..I am going to do the 10.6 's on a direct drive unit next.Then I will go back to geared units..Doing testing for my data.
what turbine are these blades on ? I know you have solid base tower, so how do you get everything put in place on the top of your tower ? murray
Climb up strap in have the wife and step son winch up the "base-frame,motor,hub,tail metal brackets...The blades and counter weight and tail are built up there..pain in the ass but solid towers!.Video coming soon..its uploading and processing...
