I've posted a simplistic drawing of what I believe to be setting up my cabin's breaker box. Would love some input from everyone. This cabin will be completely off grid, no power grid attached to it.
the drawing is up side down and a little small for me to get a good idea. I didn't notice a charge controller, you will need one between your panels and batteries.
sorry. I have a p30 l, charge controller. Forgot to draw that in. I'm really new to this. Hummmm, the pitcher does look upside down , but when I click on it and it opens up right side up. Weird
Ok other then panels being grounded and a lightening arrestor it looks pretty much the same as my breaker setup. The lightening arrestor won't help a direct hit but is some protection. I have 2 one at the disconnect where your charge controller is and one in the breaker box. ( not even sure if they make them anymore.)
Picture is upside down. But if you click the link not the picture. Your browser will flip it before showing the picture.
