Compared to other marine wind turbines, the Rover is amongst the quietest. Our aluminum blades are extremely rigid compared to other wind turbines of a similar size. Because they are so rigid, there is very little flutter in the blade compared other marine wind turbines.
Many marine wind turbines have blades that are more efficient than ours and can extract more energy from the wind. But I know of no marine wind turbine that has a blade that is as rigid as ours, especially at the tip where most of the noise is produced
