can somebody please comment which Ametek motors are better for wind turbine; 24, 30, 38, 40, 50, or 60 VDC ? is higher the number better the motor or other way around ? also, which windynation blades i should purchase? thanks.
TLG has nice review of the Ameteks: http://www.tlgwindpower.com/ametek.htm Unless you find an Ametek 99, three TurboTorque blades will provided plenty of power to turn an Ametek. You will also need a 5/8 inch arbor so you can mount the hub/blades to the Ametek shaft.
