Hello, I have Windynation P30L charge controller. I want to connect 4 solar panels (100W each) to the charge controller. The charge controller is connected to a 12V battery bank. I already have the system running great with 1 solar panel. But I am not sure how to connect 3 additional solar panels to this system. I am new to this application and my knowledge is very limited. I have a question for this 4 solar panel setup. My question is, should I connect solar panels in parallel then connect that to the charge controller keeping the voltage small and increasing the total current? Or should I connect the solar panels in series keeping the current small coming to the charge controller? Maximum current is 30Amp and maximum voltage is 48V for the controller. I am concerned that I may exceed these limits with either parallel and series connections. Please let me know what is the best option? I don't want to damage the system (charge controller and the battery) with high current or high voltage. Thanks, Emrah
In parallel with the first. It is PWM and you want to keep the voltage as close to battery voltage as possible.
