just got my sun g 10-30 volt 300watt GTI hooked up now in parallel with the 2 500 watt 22-60 like leamy and its holding the turbine down in the 12 volt area. With just the two 500's hooked up its in the 24 volt area. The 24 volt area has almost twice the power output im finding. Also i find when i unplug one of the 500's it lets the volts into the upper 20's instead of the lower 20's. any thoughts?

Hi Minn, I'm a bit confused. Here's part of your post. "So get 470AH on a 12V setup for ~$500 with cables". At the price that you quoted with 120 bucks per battery, that would indicate 4 batteries but at 235 amp hours per battery, that looks to me like 940 amp hours. I'm new at this. Help me out.

These are 6V batteries so when you make up a 12V battery bank using 2 of them in series the AH does not increase ... it stays at 235AH. If you add another pair to this, connected in parallel with the first set, then it doubles to 470AH.
