    I am interested in Grid Tie setups. I am very limited in funds and want to slowly build up a system to help lower cost of utilities. I am total electric and want to combine wind and solar which we have plenty of here. I have 13 acres with not much on it so I have plenty of room and no neighbors to worry about here in the contry. I live just south of a huge wind farm that goes on forever it seems. very strong winds here so that will have to be factor. 125+ happened twice in the 18 years I have been here and lately 50+ winds have been normal. Both of those stroms took down my Ham Radio towers, one was 100 feet and the other 80 feet. Plan on using parts of these towers for the wind turbines but a lot lower . So far I have 2 of the 600 watt power inverters model SUN-6OOG. I have my eye on some solar panels in OKC area and will order one next month and see if they will do. They are a 12 volt 250 watt panel for $195 and free shipping within 100 miles. I am glad to have found this forum and will be here with a lot of questions and looking for advise.
